Track Name: Votre Voix
Hey you, we've got some figuring out to do.
Just all this time we spent has turned irrelevant.
Eyes, wide. I feel you trembling down inside.
You look so desperate, so delicate.

(I remember being fourteen and fantasizing everything,
I remember nine years later and feeling the same way.)

Although you're with me, it still consumes you,
Sink beneath the dark inside your room.
Hide in your blankets,
It's spreading like a sickness.
So indecisive, seek where your head is,
Married to the night so you took flight,
Try and escape it, or find it in new places.

Take a sunnier path on home,
If roads for you only knew all the warmth you've carried.
Ones paved with good intentions have always made me slip,
And it lead me to your grip, but I could never find a balance.

(I remember being fourteen and fantasizing everything,
I remember nine years later and feeling the same way.)

Although you're with me, it still consumes you,
Sink beneath the dark inside your room.
Hide in your blankets,
It's spreading like a sickness.
So indecisive, seek where your head is,
Married to the night so you took flight,
Try and escape it, or find it in new places.
Track Name: "Hey, do you wanna come over,"
Now would I say that I spend most of my time feeling empty inside?
Bring a light to this hollowed life.
Putting aside most of my spine for someone I don’t know, I think I’ve had about enough of hope.

And if you wouldn’t say…

Wouldn’t say that I was a big ray of sunshine;
More of a black cloud: crude, obnoxious, and loud.
So please won’t you just bury me, oh, in a pile of clothes?
I swear it’s all that you know.

I wouldn’t say that I give up most of my time feeling guilty for life, but I think I deserve to die. Wasting mine for the rest of the night, and I’m sorry I lied but I don’t think that this is worth a try.

I’m just wasting your time…

Wouldn’t say that I was a big ray of sunshine;
More of a black cloud: crude, obnoxious, and loud.
So please won’t you just bury me, oh, in a pile of clothes?
I swear it’s all that you know.

2, 3, 4 who could show off our scars more?
5, 6, 7 who would show them, who would let them?
I wouldn’t let them. It was only for attention.
Track Name: Sour
It's only natural and I get it, I get it.
Yeah you had to come inside so I bled it, I bled it.

Gave you all my attention, all my attention. It's pathetic.
I gave you all of my time, all my possessions.
I regret it.

Oh, say it isn't true, well I'd do just about anything for you. Whatever you asked me to, or the problems that we'd have to go through. Long overdue. Well I'd do just about anything for you. Whatever you asked me to.

We had a walk around your hometown, where you said it.
Yeah it was the pouring rain on your fire escape,
You were chain smoking cigarettes.

Gave you all of my time, all of my time.
Track Name: You, Leaving
They only like being ignored,
They only want you when you're bored, and you're so boring.
Well I told you: “you have the sweetest smile,”
Then you hung up and told me you got tired.

Tired is a better place to rest your weary head,
But when I showed up at your doorstep holding flowers,
You never even answered.

I only like being ignored, I only want you when I'm bored.
And I when I told you I'd like to stay a while,
I had to hang up because I knew it was a lie.

The plans we've set have turned irreverent.
The times we've spent have made me sick of this.
And I don’t know what to do with you.

If I think it through, I want nothing to do with you.
My point of view is something you never knew.
If you see this though, I'll have nothing to do with you.
I'll answer to anyone except you.
Track Name: You Have / You Are
You are the sad and low,
You are the accident prone,
You find yourself at home,
You find yourself alone.
And I know how it feels,
I know how you get:
When you step outdoors, you always feel upset.

“So who do you think you are?”
Well I’m not much of anyone.

And you have sunburnt lips,
A Starburst wrapper stuck to your fingertips.
I tried to touch you, but it hurts when we kiss.
So we’ll pretend, let’s pretend it’s, we’ll pretend it’s over.
Track Name: Ghostwriter
This life is so bittersweet,
And it's eating up the best of me.
I'm sorry but I have to grieve,
So please bury the past and leave.

I think you died last night and awoke back to life,
It felt too much like a blur, and you can be my ghostwriter.
If and when you come back again, I wrote you this letter,
And you can be my ghostwriter.

Scratched out my eyes for all my severed ties last night,
And deflated my lungs for all my troubled ones.
I'm such an awful wreck, it wasn’t supposed to be like this.
I know this much is true, but I can say I truly felt for you.

I think you died last night and awoke back to life,
It felt too much like a blur, and you can be my ghostwriter.
If and when you come back again, I wrote you this letter,
And you can be my ghostwriter.

Oh, but you can see right through me.
Track Name: Lifesaver
I go to sleep because I need an escape. I usually find myself in bed all day,
Pressing my eyes into the back of my mind, all this stress just leaving me blind.
And I would stay up to fight,
Until we got confused and you were talking to the moon.
With a sky like glue, oh I’ll be stuck to you.

Tears in your eyes when we say goodbye,
Don’t think that I forget all the times that you cried.
Tried to stay away from your feminine side,
Scoff as you walk since you swallowed your pride.
You’re letting him get under your skin,
Oh I can feel it in your thighs when you tremble terrified.
But with eyes that blue, I’ll be touching you.

Playing the records that I watched you buy,
It was a warm summer day but we stayed inside.
Heat will always get the best of you,
And we argued we argued we argued.
When we were in the water you acted like my lifesaver.
I’m not much of a swimmer, but you’re not much of a dreamer.

Track Name: Hatch
Counting change never feels so strange when you're going out of your mind.
I just can't contain myself some times.
Often I still feel it in myself from time and time again,
I hope you're offering, offering.

You're crying like a baby,
Never waiting for someone to come along,
Go home you're on your own, you think you love him but you don't,
You don't.

Standing in your breath, oh I do see the fog of it,
Clear path for an honest man.
Looking so below, feel it in my bones,
The shivering is so much I can't feel the cold.

You're crying like a baby,
Never waiting for someone to come along,
Go home you're on your own, you think you love him but you don't,
You don't.
